Vicki - Head Trainer

Vicki Hammers-O’Neil is a USDF Certified Instructor Tr-4th Level and an active member of the USDF Instructor Certification Faculty. In addition she has achieved her USDF Bronze and Silver Medals. Vicki has won numerous local and regional awards.

Vicki graduated from The Potomac Horse Center in 1979 as an Advanced Horse Master. She then went on to become a working student and eventual barn manager for FEI Trainer and Grand Prix competitor, Pam Goodrich. It was during this time that Vicki began building a freelance teaching business which eventually evolved into VHO Dressage. 

As an FEI Dressage trainer and instructor with more than 30 years of experience, Vicki teaches riders of all ages and levels with a focus on creating independent and confident riders. Vicki has coached a variety of students to qualify for the North American Youth Championships, as well as their USDF medals. 

Vicki’s positive teaching style makes her a popular clinician, speaker, and trainer.

Reggie - Director of Barn Security

Reggie is our most loyal team member, having joined us in 2015. He takes it upon himself to greet and screen each visitor to ensure the utmost safety of our clients and horses. He also supervises all lessons and training sessions. In his free time, Reggie enjoys playing fetch and sun-bathing.
